
International Collaboration
International cooperation is one of the priority areas of activity of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “NMIC of Radiology” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, contributing to the maintenance of highly qualified specialists, improving the quality of medical care, developing promising research areas in oncology, radiology and urology, establishing and maintaining contacts of the Center with educational, scientific and medical institutions of the near and far abroad, international and national organizations, societies, associations.

Scope of international interests
Continuous interaction with medical centers and oncologists from around the world creates prerequisites for the continuous improvement of our doctors and maintaining their skills at a high international level. Cooperation is conducted both in the field of scientific research and in the field of practical exchange of experience.
Cooperation
NMIC of Radiology has Cooperation agreements with leading oncological centers of such countries as China, Mongolia, South Korea, Japan, as well as traditionally – Germany, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Cuba and many others.
NMIC of Radiology actively participates in the work of world organizations, such as: the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), – the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), – the UN Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR), the Organization of European Cancer Institutes (OECI), the World Health Organization (WHO).
The Center is also part of the international REMPAN network (Medical Preparedness for Radiological Emergencies and Assistance) – REMPAN – (Radiological Emergency Medical Preparedness and Assistance Network) and BioDosNet on the basis of the A. F. Tsyba Medical Radiological Research Center.

A priority place in international cooperation is occupied by work with the CIS countries within the framework of the Association of Cancer Communities of the CIS – ADIOR. The President of the Association is the Director General of the FSBI “NMIC of Radiology” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor A.D. Kaprin. Congresses of oncologists from the member countries of the Association are held regularly and supplemented by weekly telemedicine consultations, which contributes to the creation of prerequisites for maintaining uniform standards of cancer treatment throughout the post-Soviet space and in neighboring countries.
Honored specialists of our Center are members of a number of world organizations of oncologists, radiologists and urologists and thereby make their individual contribution to the development of oncology at national levels, strengthening the international authority of NMIC Radiology.
The absolute majority of the center’s doctors, ranging from academicians to aspirators, take part in international scientific forums, conferences and seminars that contribute to maintaining high qualifications of specialists, improving the quality of medical care, developing promising scientific directions in oncology, radiology and urology, establishing and maintaining contacts of the Center with educational, scientific and medical institutions of the near and far East foreign countries, international and national organizations, societies, associations.
International cooperation is coordinated by the International Relations Department of the Center.
