The department is equipped with modern digital multifunctional equipment from leading global manufacturers. The staff consists of highly qualified and experienced specialists, most of whom hold the highest professional category and academic degrees. In addition to standard ultrasound examinations, specialists perform ultrasound diagnostics with contrast agents, elastography, and many other procedures.
Diagnostic Programs
- Ultrasound diagnostics of gastrointestinal tract tumors (esophageal, gastric, small and large intestine, rectal cancer, including 3D reconstruction of hollow organs), liver tumors (primary and secondary lesions), and pancreatic tumors with determination of the extent of tumor spread;
- Endosonography of tumors of the esophagus, stomach, pancreas, and mediastinum (in cooperation with the endoscopy department);
- Ultrasound diagnostics of tumors of the lung, mediastinum, pleura, and chest wall;
- Ultrasound diagnostics of tumors of superficially located organs (thyroid gland, mammary glands), as well as soft tissue tumors;
- Ultrasound diagnostics of tumors of the tongue and floor of the mouth.
Diagnostic program
- Ultrasound diagnosis of tumors of the female reproductive system (uterine body, cervical cancer, malignant and benign ovarian tumors), including doppler and doppler studies);
- Ultrasound diagnosis of tumors of the urinary system (kidneys, penile bladder, prostate gland, penis, testes), including 3-D reconstruction of the bladder in malignant lesions;
- Comprehensive ultrasound examination for lymphoproliferative diseases (Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas); Invasive manipulations under ultrasound control: diagnostic and diagnostic puncture and biopsy of various organs and tissues
Diagnostic program
- Invasive manipulations under ultrasound control: diagnostic and diagnostic puncture and biopsy of various organs and tissues
- Ultrasound-controlled drainage of various cavities (lymphocytes, abscesses of different localization), implantation of nephrostomy, cystomas, drainage of pleural cavities, pericardial cavity, abdominal cavity;
- Investigation of arterial vessels (veins of the lower extremities) to prevent post-operatory thrombotic complications;
- Dynamic monitoring of all localization tumors to monitor the effectiveness of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and timely detection of relapse after surgery and in remission phase after conservative anti-tumor therapy;
- Fine-needle puncture of formations of different localization: trepanbis of various organs and structures, installation of nephfora, cyst, drainage of bile ducts; FUSION-biopsy of the prostate gland; interventional biopsy of the plexus, thoracic, with obtaining material for histological and cytological investigation. About separation
All employees of the department are candidates or doctors of medical sciences, have certificates not only in ultrasound diagnostics, but also oncology. Patients are examined in the ward taking into account possible or existing oncological pathology. The department carries out research work aimed at diagnosing pancreatic and liver tumors, lymphoproliferative diseases, tumors of the tongue and bottom of the mouth, tumors of the chest cavity, ablation of tumors of the kidney under ultrasound. Based on the results of scientific work, scientific recommendations for doctors, articles from foreign and Russian journals are published, 4 monographs dedicated to ultrasonic diagnosis of tumors of different localization have been released in the department
