ADVANCED NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIES
The Center is one of the leaders in the field of nuclear medicine, development of Russian radiopharmaceuticals and introduction of technologies for their application in clinical practice. The use of nuclear medicine technologies in combined and complex treatment provides significant/additional benefits of therapy for both oncologic and non-oncologic diseases. The nuclear pharmacy produces radiopharmaceuticals based on radionuclides Re-188, Lu-177 and As-225 for the treatment of metastatic prostate cancer, primary and secondary liver cancer, metastatic skeletal lesions and chronic synovitis of the knee joint.

Scientists of A. Tsyb MRRC have patented and are actively using methods of preserving reproductive organs in cancer patients with the help of CryoBank.

Diagnostics in the Center is performed for all people upon referral of the attending physician and is done using high-tech CT and PET equipment. The key to the effective treatment depends entirely on establishing an accurate diagnosis, so the doctors of the center approach the diagnosis of cancer carefully. With the help of molecular-genetic and immunological studies, it is possible to adjust the treatment program or find the hidden cause of obvious symptoms.
With the help of Surgical Treatment at A. Tsyb MRRC, plastic surgeries are performed to restore damage after radiation therapy. Extensive operating rooms are equipped with modern equipment and high-tech devices that allow surgical interventions on hard-to-reach tissues and organs.
Scientists of the NMRRC have patented and actively use the program of preserving reproductive function in patients who have undergone chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The method of cryopreservation of biological material, which is stored in the CryoBank created specially for this purpose, has been patented. More than 60 patients have already become parents using the successful therapy of the center.
