International Cooperation Management

The Department of International Cooperation ensures the operation of the Center at the international level by coordinating the National Medical Research Radiological Centre cooperation with its foreign partners, and by participating in international conferences, congresses, plenums, meetings, and round tables. The Department of International Cooperation comprises three divisions: the International Cooperation Division, the Medical Tourism Division, and the Division for Ensuring Basic Organization of Oncology in the CIS member states.

The International Cooperation Department is responsible for planning and organizing international scientific cooperation in research, medical, and educational activities, coordinating the international scientific cooperation of the Center’s branches, and organizing international events: conferences, working meetings for information exchange, including for the implementation of developed projects in practical healthcare; training seminars with invited foreign lecturers; master classes, including those conducted by the Center’s staff for practical healthcare specialists; scientific visits of the Center’s specialists to foreign medical and research centers as observers.

The Department of International Cooperation interacts with international organizations such as WHO, the International Agency for Research on Cancer, the International Union Against Cancer, the National Cancer Institute, professional societies and associations, and foreign educational institutions on matters of international scientific cooperation and scientific and informational support. The Department of International Cooperation handles consular and visa issues for the admission of foreign specialists to the Center, as well as migration registration for foreign citizens and stateless persons receiving inpatient treatment at the Center. The Department of International Cooperation also organizes the reception of foreign delegations, scientists, and specialists arriving in the Russian Federation at the invitation of the Center.

The medical tourism department provides foreign citizens with access to treatment at the Center and its branches. The medical tourism department carries out educational activities at the international level to promote the ideas of treatment at the Center and its branches. The medical tourism department ensures interaction between the patient and their treatment department at the Center. The medical tourism department handles the reception, accommodation, and support of foreign patients at all stages of treatment at the Center and its branches.
