On June 19, 2020, a solemn academic council was held to celebrate the Day of the Medical Worker

For the first time, this professional holiday was held in the format of a teleconference, which was attended by employees of three branches of the Center at once – the P.A. Herzen Institute of Urology and Interventional Radiology named after N.A. Lopatkin and the A.F. Tsyba MRSC.

Andrey Dmitrievich Kaprin, General Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “NMIC of Radiology” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, thanked the staff of the Center for their daily work, professionalism, loyalty and dedication to their work. Special words of gratitude and support were addressed to colleagues who worked and are working to this day in the “red zone” – the infectious diseases department of the repurposed Research Institute of Urology and Interventional Radiology named after N.A. Lopatkin.

Congratulations to the entire team were sent by the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko. In her address, she noted that “today the Radiology Center is the leading medical cluster of our country in the field of oncology, and thanks to the highest professionalism of the team, it is possible to achieve all the goals set, reduce the mortality rate from oncology and give hope to millions of patients.”

The words of gratitude for the daily work and work were also sent by Honored Artists of Russia – Nadezhda Babkina, Lev Leshchenko and Alexander Rosenbaum, as well as long–time friends of the Center – students of the “Rehabilitation Center – 76” headed by Director Elena Sergeevna Gavrilina.

Certificates of honor and memorable gifts for selfless work were awarded to Yanina Limanskaya, Anastasia Sviridenko, Anton Alyautdinov and Ekaterina Panova – volunteers of the Center who came to the aid of the FSBI “NMIC Radiology” of the Ministry of Health of Russia during the pandemic.

Despite the unusual format for a solemn academic council – a teleconference – it turned out to be very warm and sincere. Colleagues and patients sent several dozen congratulations and words of gratitude to the entire staff of the FSBI “NMIC Radiology” of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
