THE NEW FORMAT ON THE FORUM «FOR LIFE»

Course at the Forum «For Life»

For the first time at the upcoming VIII International Forum on Oncology and Radiotherapy «For Life» in September, the organizers introduce a new format – a marathon of poster presentations with discussions. September 15, 2023 everyone can participate in the section «Biomedicine. Molecular portraits of tumors».

Chairman of the section, Assistant – Domozhirova Alla Sergeevna, scientific curator of VIII International Forum on Oncology and Radiotherapy «For Life», academic secretary of Department’s Clinical Diagnostic and Telemedicine Technology Centre, doctor of medical sciences, associate professor.

Section “Biomedicine. Molecular profiles of tumors” is presented for the first time as a separate topic to be discussed under the guidance of morphologists. The section will present reports on the biological characteristics of the most common tumors, such as lung and breast cancer, as well as reports on the possibilities of screening and vaccination of the population against HPV-infection to prevent cervical cancer at the population level.

Experts from different regions of Russia will participate in the discussion: Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk, Astrakhan and other cities. Each presentation will be followed by a comprehensive discussion. Participants will share their own experiences taking into account the development of biotechnology and world trends in this field.

Tumor molecular profile reports contain unique and relevant information that will be useful not only to oncologists, but also to representatives of related specialties – diagnosticians, pathomorphologists, laboratory specialists, biologists and other experts.

This year, for the first time, this topic will be discussed separately and in detail within the poster reports section.
