«FOSTERING PATRIOTISM THROUGH PRESERVATION OF HEROIC DEEDS»
Last weekend, children from the Berega Center for Family Assistance (Kondrovo) visited the Museum of Russian Military History, located in the village of Padikovo in the Istra District of the Moscow Region. This outing was made possible through the support of the National Medical Research Radiological Centre of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Center’s trade union, which organized an unforgettable excursion for its wards.
Remarkably, this museum houses exhibits that tell the story of Russia’s military history from the early 19th century to the present day. Today, its collection includes more than fifty tanks and self-propelled vehicles, dozens of cannons, cars, and motorcycles, as well as over 700 pieces of firearms and melee weapons. Additionally, the museum features photographs, documents, awards, and uniforms.
The children showed great interest and attentiveness as they explored the history of our country, drawing inspiration from the heroism and achievements of its figures. To conclude the excursion, the visitors enjoyed a visit to the zoo located within the museum complex.
“Organizing such educational excursions is not only an opportunity to learn more about Russian history but also a way to instill in children a sense of pride in their country, its achievements, and heroic deeds,” said Larisa Koroleva, Chairperson of the Trade Union at the National Medical Research Radiological Centre of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
