INNOPROM sets the pace
The main strategic session of the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM-2023 was held in Yekaterinburg: the prime ministers of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, as well as members of the governments of ten states, spoke at it.
The main topic was the preservation of the stability of the economy against the backdrop of anti-Russian sanctions and other negative processes. At the beginning of his speech, Mikhail Mishustin noted that, despite the sanctions, INNOPROM brought together more than 1,000 companies from 35 countries.
“We see that interest in the Russian economy not only remains, but also grows, despite all the attempts of opponents to cut us off from global production chains, logistics routes and financial settlement systems,” the prime minister said.
At the same time, in order to increase sustainability, “it is necessary to achieve full-fledged technological sovereignty in all critical industries without exception” Mishustin said.
Head of the Russian Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko presented the latest breakthrough developments of subordinate scientific institutions of the Russian Ministry of Health to the Heads of Government of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, Mikhail Mishustin, Roman Golovchenko and Alikhan Smailov.
Andrey Kaprin, Director General of National Medical Research Radiological Center of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, also personally took part in the work of the INNOPROM -2023 exhibition:
– A very large palette of developed and already implemented domestic projects was presented this year in Yekaterinburg. Many of them are not only innovative, but they have no analogues yet. And this inspires a great optimism regarding the development of our Russian science and industry. We need to readjust our production very quickly for import substitution. Of course, we especially would like to see results in the field of production of “heavy equipment” – for the diagnosis and treatment of oncological diseases – Andrey Dmitrievich noted.
Samples of microsources with iodine-125 intended for low-dose brachytherapy of localized prostate cancer, as well as a compact 188W/188Re radionuclide generator, which has no analogues in the country, were presented for the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
All radiopharmaceuticals based on Re – 188 can be synthesized in compact Rhenium generator. They are used in the treatment of oncological and non-oncological diseases: metastatic lesions of bones, liver, as well as the treatment of synovitis, arthritis, etc. The battery life of the generator is 200 days.
The compact size of the generator allows it to be delivered even to remote corners of Russia, and the ability to work up to 6 months provides local specialists with innovative radiopharmaceuticals based on Re – 188. Can be applied in any country.
It synthesizes raw materials for the production of various radiopharmaceuticals based on Rhenium-188 in the nuclear pharmacy,
Also, at the stand of National Medical Research Radiological Center, the exhibitors could get acquainted with samples of ophthalmic applicators for brachytherapy of oncological eye diseases (melanoma and retinoblastoma), including in children. The expiration date of the ophthalmic applicators with ruthenium is 106 is two years, with strontium-90 it is thirty years.
