– We see that applicants choose the medical specialty, despite the high competition. This year, over 70 thousand people entered medical universities, over 120 thousand people entered medical colleges, which indicates the importance of the medical profession and its growing popularity,” Mikhail Murashko said.

The minister is sure that the first-year students will become professionals in their field and will make an important contribution to the development of medical science and practice, and the acquired knowledges and skills will help to successfully solve the most complex problems and sometimes emergency situations.
