Young scientists of the DPR joined the professional community “Young specialists of ADIOR”The demand for youth science and communication among specialists of the CIS countries served to create a community of “Young specialists of ADIOR” within the framework of the Association of Directors of Centers and Institutes of Oncology and Radiology of the CIS and Eurasia (ADIOR CIS). It unites young oncologists from Russia and the CIS countries, for whom many interactive and training programs are held on a regular basis. Among them is the international online seminar “Analysis of rare clinical cases”, which is attended by young specialists from all over the country, and for the first time – doctors of new territories of the Russian Federation.

Last week, a meeting was held dedicated to the analysis of rare clinical cases of tumors of the abdominal cavity and pelvis. Yaroslav Shekhovtsov, a resident of the Republican Oncology Center named after Professor G.V. Bondar of the Ministry of Health of the DPR, and Sofia Demina, a resident of the P.A. Herzen Institute of Medical Research – a branch of the NMIC of Radiology of the Ministry of Health of Russia, presented their reports at the seminar.
The reports of colleagues were devoted to synchronous metastases of colorectal cancer in the ovaries and synchronous locally advanced colorectal cancer and cervical cancer. The moderator of the seminar was Nikolay Grishin, a leading researcher at the Abdominal Department of the Herzen Moscow State Medical Institute. After the speeches, a joint situational case with tasks for the seminar participants was traditionally presented.

According to Andrey KAPRIN, President of ADIOR CIS and Eurasia, Chief Oncologist of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the development of youth science and the training of a new generation has always been of paramount importance. “The creation of such a format of interaction between young specialists from different countries allows not only children to communicate professionally with each other, expanding their own knowledge, but also to see an alternative view and approach. Of course, the exchange of experience, interesting clinical cases, analysis of difficult patients, participation in competitions of young scientists – all this will lead to an increase in the quality of the human resources of the oncology industry of our country and the CIS countries,” said Andrey KAPRIN.

The program of international online seminars also provides a scoring system for evaluating the work of young professionals in the club – for active participation, case analysis, correct answers to questions. This time, the winners who managed to answer the questions of the case the fastest were:
