Young scientists and academics discussed the possibilities of interdisciplinary cooperation in medicine and education.
On November 26, 2019, a round table meeting was held on the basis of the P.A. Hertsen Moscow Research Oncological Institute – a branch of the NMIC of Radiology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation on the topic: “Cooperation of young scientists of the Russian Academy of Education and the Federal State Budgetary Institution “NMIC of Radiology” of the Ministry of Health of Russia: possibilities of interdisciplinary interaction”.
More than 70 young specialists took part in the round table. The main objective of the first meeting was to unite the scientific efforts of young scientists and specialists working in the fields of education and medicine to plan and organize interdisciplinary research projects. In videoconference mode, young scientists, graduate students and residents from the N.A. Research Institute of Urology and Interventional Radiology joined the Round Table. Lopatkin is a branch of the FSBI “NMIC of Radiology” of the Ministry of Health of Russia and the A.F. Tsyba Medical Radiological Research Center is a branch of the FSBI “NMIC of Radiology” of the Ministry of Health of Russia. The reports presented the organizational capabilities and specifics of the activities of the National Medical Research Center of Radiology of the Ministry of Health of Russia and the Russian Academy of Education. The audience was offered the results of research projects carried out by young scientists at the intersection of two fields of science – psychology and medicine. The variety of topics of the presentations gave the participants of the Round Table – young scientists and practitioners working in the field of psychology and medicine – an opportunity to ask questions, speak out on their problems and express a desire to work together. All participants of the Round Table unanimously noted that in order to solve the most important national task – the physical and mental well–being of citizens – it is necessary to combine the intellectual and research resources of specialists working in various fields of scientific knowledge.
