Open day dedicated to the diagnosis and prevention of malignant neoplasms of the breast
Dear friends!
On April 8, an open day dedicated to the diagnosis and prevention of malignant neoplasms of the breast will be held at the polyclinic of the A.F. Tsyba MRSC – a branch of the NMIC of Radiology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in the city of Obninsk.
Women and, please note, men have a unique opportunity to get advice from the leading oncomammologists of our Center – to undergo an initial examination, if necessary, to do an ultrasound of the mammary glands and perform mammography.
At the moment, breast cancer is the leading oncopathology among the female population of the whole world. Unfortunately, in recent years there has been an alarming trend: the number of young patients is increasing – up to 35 years.
There are cases of breast cancer in men, so if you notice any alarming symptoms, you should definitely pay attention to them.
Every woman needs to conduct a monthly self-examination. This is not difficult at all and should become a part of the life of every representative of the fair sex. Read about clear rules and recommendations in our next post.
It is important to note that palpation usually allows you to identify fairly large formations, so do not forget about regular visits to a mammologist, ultrasound examination of the mammary glands and mammography.
