Cooperation agreement signed with the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia
On December 10, an agreement on cooperation between the Federal State Budgetary Institution “NMIC of Radiology” of the Ministry of Health of Russia and the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation was signed at the P.A. Hertsen Moscow Research Oncological Institute. The document was signed by Andrey Kaprin, Director General of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “NMIC of Radiology” of the Ministry of Health of Russia, and Valery Maksimenko, Deputy Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia.
– Today we are starting a big program, – said Mr. Maksimenko. – We have a great need for medical care in different directions. In fact, cooperation with such large institutions is the know–how of the modern era. We have already established partnerships with the Bakulevsky Cardiocenter, and this has yielded results: we have managed to reduce mortality by 24 percent. But there were no oncologists in our system. Now we know for sure that this help will come on time and efficiently.
During the meeting, the medal of Fedor Gaaz, an outstanding Russian doctor, a famous educator and humanist, was also awarded to employees of the P.A. Hertsen Institute of Medical Sciences: Vasily Ovsyannikov, Peter Leonidovich Khazan and Andrey Dmitrievich Kaprin, Director General of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “NMIC Radiology” of the Ministry of Health of Russia, who in response said:
– This is a big advance for me, thank you for your trust. We always remember who helps us to live in peace and tranquility, our law enforcement agencies themselves are constantly on duty, and we are ready to help you.
The Certificate of Honor of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia was awarded to the Deputy director for medical Work Elena Vladimirovna Gameeva.
