Andrey Dmitrievich dwelled on the international experience of solving the problem of oncological diseases, and also spoke in detail about the details of the implementation of a national project in this area.
The federal project “Fight against oncological diseases for 2018-2024” sets ambitious goals, including: reducing mortality from neoplasms to 185 cases per 100 thousand population, increasing the proportion of malignant neoplasms detected at early stages (I-II stages) to 63% and others. In a number of countries, when implementing similar national programs for the development, implementation and promotion of cancer prevention and control methods, high efficiency was demonstrated by taking into account regional differences in morbidity and mortality depending on the type of cancer, as well as defining targets and subprograms, conducting audits. The participants of the discussion discussed which international experience in prioritizing nosologies can be considered successful, which targets defined in the subjects of the Russian Federation can significantly affect the effectiveness of the implementation of the federal project.

Heads of regional health services shared their experience in implementing the program. So in the Ryazan region, the work of the School of Patients has become widespread, in which people who have been treated for ZNO are prepared how to behave in the post-rehabilitation period, they give advice on how to overcome the psychological barrier that often occurs both in patients and in their environment.

“The World Health Organization has recognized that the refusal of vaccinations today is a global threat to humanity. Timely vaccination can prevent up to 30% of child deaths and the task of the expert community, the media, opinion leaders to unite in order to increase the level of literacy of the population on vaccine prevention, reduce the level of distrust of the medical community, – said the head of the project “Healthy Society” Anastasia Stolkova.
