Self-examination is recommended for all women without exception. In reproductive age, it is necessary to check before the 10th day of the cycle – when the sex hormone content is most stable, because closer to ovulation breast begins to increase in volume and changes tissue density – it seems swollen and puffy. In post-menopausal age, self-examination is required with a certain periodicity (for example, on the 12th of each month).
