The XI Congress of Oncologists and Radiologists of the CIS and Eurasia countries will be held online for the first time

From April 23 to 25, the XI Congress of Oncologists and Radiologists of the CIS and Eurasia countries will be held in a new modern format – online broadcasts. The event was organized with the participation of ADIOR CIS and EA, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Association of Oncologists of Russia and with the support of MIA “Russia Today”.

ADIOR CIS and EA is an authoritative international professional community of cancer centers and institutes of the Commonwealth of Independent States and Eurasia. The Congress is held every two years. More than 5,000 leading Russian and foreign specialists in the field of oncosurgery, radiology, drug therapy and many related fields announced their participation in the event. The program has planned more than 500 reports that will be devoted to the latest achievements of science and practice.  The heads of oncological services of the CIS member states will discuss the most important issues of organizing effective work in the field of combating oncological diseases in difficult modern conditions.

The opening ceremony of the XI Congress of Oncologists and Radiologists of the CIS and Eurasia countries will take place on April 23 from 14:30 to 17:00 in the Presidential Hall of the multimedia press center MIA “Russia Today”. The ceremony will be attended by Minister of Health of the Russian Federation M.A. Murashko, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.M. Sergeev, Director of the Department of Humanitarian Cooperation, General Political and Social Problems of the CIS Executive Committee A.A. Sazonov, Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan M. Fazleeva, President of ADIOR CIS and EA, General Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “NMIC of Radiology” of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Chief freelance Specialist oncologist of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.D. Kaprin, Director of the N.N. Blokhin NMIC of Oncology of the Ministry of Health  Russian Federation, Chief Freelance Oncologist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences I.S. Stilidi, Co-chairman of the Congress, Director of the Kazan State Medical Academy – branch of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of the Russian Ministry of Health, Chief Freelance Oncologist of the Volga Federal District, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences R.Sh. Khasanov.

These days Tatarstan celebrates its triple anniversary: The 100th anniversary of the formation of the republic, the Kazan State Medical Academy and the founder of the Kazan Surgical School of Oncologists Mikhail Semenovich Sigal. These important events will be reflected in the work of the congress.
