YOUNG SCIENTISTS DISCUSS ISSUES OF EXPERIMENTAL AND CLINICAL UROLOGY
Last week in the N. Lopatkin Scientific Research Institute of Urology and Interventional Radiology (SRIUIR) – the branch of the FSBI “National Medical Research Radiological Centre” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, has taken place a meeting of the Council of Young Scientists with international participation. This is the second conference of the Council, where scientists not only from Russia, but also from CIS countries take part. The events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Nikolai A. Lopatkin, the founder of the Research Institute of Urology.
This time the round table was devoted to LMS (pelvic-ureteric segment) plasty, complications and prevention methods. Discussions and reasoning of young scientists were supplemented by experts who traditionally act as leading specialists of the SIUIR: the Head of the Reconstructive Urology Group, Candidate of Medical Sciences Nikolai Polyakov, Senior Researcher of the Department of Urolithiasis and Endoscopic Urology, Candidate of Medical Sciences Nikolai Anokhin, Junior Researcher of the Innovation Department Alexei Trudov and oncologist of the Oncology and Urology Department Pavel Penkov. The event was held with the support and direct participation of Chief Physician Dr. Mikhail Vekilyan.
We emphasize that the meetings held in a modern format, using artificial intelligence. This time the participants of the meeting were specialists from Russia, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic. Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Daria Galitskaya noted that the round table is a modern communication and discussion platform for young scientists, inventors, which serves not only to develop the skills of discussion and defending their point of view in modern science, but also the exchange of experience.
