YOUNG SCIENTISTS OF NMRRC HELD A SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL QUIZ “THE POWER OF SCIENCE” AT VDNKH

The event was held as part of the “Festival of Professions” of the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”. This is a unique platform where, for the past six months, the achievements of our country in all areas of science, culture and sports have been demonstrated with great success. It was a great honor for young oncology scientists of the Center to have the opportunity to take part in the forum events and contribute to the promotion of the accelerated development of education and healthcare in Russia.

The intellectual competition took place in the pavilion of the Ministry of Health of Russian Federation and brought together many people who wanted to learn about how a man has been constructed, what is needed for the healthy development of the body and how to choose the profession of a doctor. Those who are wishing to compete were asked interesting and not always simple questions.

In which part of the human body is the longest muscle located?

Which bone in our skeleton looks like a key?

These and other mysteries had to be figured out by the participants of the game. The winners received memorable gifts and prizes, as well as diplomas of competition participants.

“We believe that such events allow us not only to increase the popularity of the profession of a doctor and scientist in a playful way or to learn interesting facts from the history of the development of science,” emphasized Elena Zharova, Scientific Secretary of the National Medical Research Radiological Centre of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, but also to get acquainted with new achievements of science, and for our young specialists to prove themselves both creatively when drawing up tasks and communicatively during such competitions.”
