Popularization of a healthy lifestyle among students and employees of the educational sector of the Russian Federation.

Conducting career guidance work among senior secondary school students, broadcasting the latest achievements of fundamental and applied science in the field of diagnosis and treatment of oncological diseases.
At the pilot stage, schools will have the opportunity to invite young oncologists to talk with students in full-time or remotely. Researchers representing one of Russia’s leading medical and scientific institutions – NMIC of Radiology, will tell high school students about the principles of a healthy lifestyle, new achievements of biomedical technologies and promising areas of regenerative medicine in the treatment of oncological diseases. The students will gain new knowledge about the rules of healthy eating and the dangers of bad habits, about the achievements of tissue engineering, the use of 3D technologies, bioprinting, cell transplantation and how to become a successful scientist who is engaged in such an interesting direction in biomedicine.
The second part of the educational project concerns the anonymous questionnaire of teachers on the prevention of cancer. Studies show that early detection of the problem allows them to be cured in 90% of cases. That is why teachers are invited to take a survey that will allow them to take a closer look at their health status and, if necessary, seek advice. At the first stage, the pilot project will include schools of the Central Federal District, PFD and NCFD. At the end of the survey, teachers will be waiting for the addresses and contacts of cancer centers in the regions of these federal districts, where teachers will be able to seek help and advice if necessary.
