Subsequently, the accuracy of the diagnosis determines the choice of the most optimal type of treatment for the patient.
Payment for the revision
Revision of provided histological preparations is performed on a paid basis in accordance with the approved price list due to the fact that the initial study of histological preparations in the medical institution where they were made was paid from the funds of the mandatory health insurance fund. The service of revision of finished preparations is not provided for in the list of medical services approved by the tariff agreement of the city of Moscow for the current year. In case the glasses are received not by the patient himself, but by his representative, then on the basis of the federal law on personal data, which protects, among other things, medical confidentiality, he must have a power of attorney from the patient to receive these medical tests, notarized.

The oncologist conducts a consultative appointment and writes out a “referral”, after which the patient takes his histological preparations (glass and paraffin blocks) to the registrar’s office, filling out all the necessary documents.

The results of drug revision are issued in the CDC of the Research Institute of Urology in 3-5 days if the patient has a passport.
