Treatment of peritoneal carcinomatosis using PIPAC therapy method.
This unique technology is used in neglected forms of stomach, ovarian, colorectal cancer and other cases with peritoneum metastases – peritoneal carcinomatosis. Specialists of the National Medical Research Radiological Center were among the first in the world to introduce into clinical practice the innovative PIPAC technique. Pressurized intra-abdominal or intra-pleural aerosol chemotherapy, both at the stage of induction therapy and as an intraoperative ablation method.

- Personalized approach
- Unique technique
- Treatment according to the quota for high-tech medical care
- Patients from any region of Russia, near and distant foreign countries
Treatment according to the PIPAC method is carried out using a minimally invasive approach (laparoscopy or thoracoscopy), introducing chemotherapy drugs in the form of aerosol, which impacts directly on peritoneal metastases. Quite often, the PIPAC technology is the only option for patients with advanced forms of cancer, preventing the appearance of new metastases and fluid accumulation in the abdomen, and in some cases leads to complete disappearance of existing metastases. It is possible to perform complete cytoreduction in patients with initially non-resectable tumor process after response to systematic and/or intra-peritoneal chemotherapy.
